The mission of Bay Area Generations is to bring together writers of different generations in a spirit of adventure through a submission-based reading series and related activities.
Since 2013, we have upheld a mission to bring together the rich diversity of differing voices of our Bay Area literary communities.
From our monthly literary readings and shows, to our participation in featuring local bay area poets and writers and authors at the literary festivals and community events, Bay Area Generations seeks to elevate the community’s literary work and voices writing on the most meaningful subjects of the day.
With that commitment, we seek to maintain a diverse board representing the many genders, races, cultures and generations; hold accessible community events and reading opportunities
